What this site does with your data
The site works entirely without an account: building, adjusting and sharing a build by link requires no sign-up. Signing in only serves to publish under a recognisable identity.
- Your build stays with you. It is saved in your browser's own storage. It is not sent anywhere unless you publish it.
- Published build. If you use “Publish”, the build (body, attributes, name, description) becomes visible to everyone and gets a public address. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time by e-mail.
- Abuse protection. Each time you publish or like something, the site stores a hashed fingerprint of your IP address to limit how many requests you can send per minute. That fingerprint cannot be turned back into your IP address, and it is deleted after about an hour.
- Comments. They are closed. Comments written before they closed are still visible; write to us to have one removed.
- Discord sign-in. If you sign in, the site asks Discord for the “identify” scope only: it receives your Discord identifier, your display name and your avatar. No email, no password, no server list. Those three are kept so the site recognises you next time and can show your profile; your Discord identifier never leaves the site and appears on no page. Your session lives in a signed cookie, valid for thirty days, that the page's JavaScript cannot read.
- Public profile. Once signed in, you get a public address of the form
/u/your-name: it shows your name, your avatar, the month you joined, how many people follow you and the builds you published. Nothing else. These pages are not indexed by search engines. - Following. Following a player records only the link between your account and theirs. The person followed sees their follower count, never the list of who follows them.
- Deleting your account. The button is on your profile. It erases your Discord identifier, your name, your avatar, your public address and who you follow. The builds you published stay online but are no longer linked to you, so links shared by others keep working; write to us if you want them removed too.
- Traffic measurement. The site counts its own visits, with no cookie, no identifier and no outside service: nothing is sent to a third party. What is recorded is a counter per day, page, language, device type and referring domain — never the full address of the page that brought you here. So that the same person is not counted twice in a day, a fingerprint is derived from your IP address, your browser, the date and a server key; it changes every day, cannot be reversed, does not let anyone follow you from one day to the next, and is erased after a week.
- Advertising. The site shows no advertising to date, and therefore sets no advertising trackers: that is why you see no cookie banner. Should it ever show ads, this page would say so, and your consent would be requested before any tracker is set. Without your consent, no advertising tracker is set.
- No resale. No data is sold or rented, and none is passed to a third party for advertising purposes without your prior consent.
You can ask to access, correct or delete anything that concerns you by writing to [email protected].
Where the game data comes from
- Personal recordings: the attribute maximums for each body are recorded in the game's builder and in the NBA 2K HQ app, then checked.
- Real builds: complete builds published by LockerCodes.
- Official 2K blueprints (Signature Blueprints): recorded via NBA2KLab.
Sources are credited and linked on the relevant pages. Any rights holder who wants their data removed can write to [email protected] : removal is carried out without discussion.
How reliable the information is
Some of the values shown are estimated from the recorded bodies, and the site says so every time. The game can also change its rules with any update. This site therefore does not guarantee the accuracy of its information and does not replace the game.
Trademarks
NBA 2K27, NBA 2K, MyPLAYER and NBA are trademarks of their respective owners (2K, Take-Two Interactive, NBA Properties). This site is an independent tool made by a player: it is neither affiliated with, endorsed by, nor sponsored by 2K or the NBA. No image or graphical element from the game is reproduced here.
